Caravan & Lifestyle Show

Richo didn't want to go to the camping show because it was cold, rainy and horrible. I won because I am so proud of my new ankle and simply love walking around the displays pain free. After so many years of barely managing with a destroyed ankle, this is better than winning the lottery.
Queensland turned on a glorious day for us, hot sunny not a cloud in the sky. The entrance walkway was very muddy but the rest was in a pavilion and on bitumen. We bought a carport,
some special glue that will glue everything to anything.
A bunch of led lights,
kayak racks, silicone picnic ware and a cookbook from an author who used crowd sourcing to get it printed. She was a lovely little lady and had a bright red tear drop camper. I bought nearly one of everything she had and had a rave about how good I think silicone is and asked her if she minded if I did a product review on her products on our cheekyricho YouTube channel. She liked the idea so you can expect more info about her. She also has a website which shares recipes and new product information. You've gotta love that.
and containers. That are waterproof and some have dividers, drainers and also stack inside each other.
Some tie down hooks. Water containers, cigarette plugs, wiring connectors,  collected pamphlets and 10 heads full of ideas for our camper conversion. We got a very in depth demonstration of a TV satellite set up. They had this little cooker which was very interesting but the little gas canister to run it for only
5 hours costs about $14-15.00 and is only available at camping stores or some large lifestyle stores. If those canisters ever become unavailable the little stove will be redundant. Needless to stay we didn't get it. We had pizza for lunch it was prepared in about 3-4 minutes, very  burnt on the outside with totally raw dough and very cold in the centre. Worst pizza ever, I have never eaten raw pizza before, can't recommend it.! Turn the heat down guys and cook the damn thing properly, the only part that wasn't raw was charcoal and extended only about 1" in from the edge. I am so glad I only bought one!
It's a couple of hours drive home so it's been a pretty full day but we had a good time. After all the rain and the really horrible cold snap this was a wonderful day out in the warm Queeny sunshine.
Now the work begins to prepare the site for the new shed which will be here in 2 more sleeps. I swear I have to live to 150 years old to get my immediate jobs done.
