Malaysian holiday day 8 Penang cheekyricho

A lazy day today watched a movie, had a lovely swim, picnic lunch and went for a walk for dinner.
Richo had ginger chicken with fried rice and I had chicken satay sticks with spicy fried rice and a serve of spring rolls for an entree. Ot was hot so we had an icy cold Tiger beer with it.
I really liked the satay sauce but the chicken tasted like it had been cooked over an oil fire. You know the flavour you get when you light heat beads and try to cook on them before the surface is ashes over, well
That's what the satay sticks tasted like. It was cheap but I couldn't recommend it. So far we have preferred the food courts they are fast, you can see it being prepared and they are clean and very busy with a big turnover and variety no wonder all the locals eat there.
Today the resort hosted a family function weekend for the local
Electricity suppliers. A sudden influx of 300 guests made it quite crowded here. There car park was overfull so we decided not to use the car lest we lose our car parking space. The convention is due to leave at lunchtime tomorrow so we will make ourselves scarce.
