Day 2 Malaysian Holiday

The juice and coffee bar at breakfast.
After a lovely sleep, a fantastic breakfast

Where everything was fresh quickly replenished and had an enormous variety. We tasted a little of most things. I tried Orange Yoghurt, it was amazing. Best yoghurt I have ever tasted. This thing called Steaky Beef, dunno but it was different. Fruit, juice, coffee, pastries, Nasi Lemak, muesli, noodles, rice, congee, chicken sausages. I don't know what else sounds a lot but it was a small spoon of each to try. Didn't even go to the egg or Indian food bar or the toast station.
Caught a cab to China town. To see this dentist we saw 5 years ago, nothing's changed, very friendly helpful and full of local Information.
Got our teeth scale and cleaned and a couple of fillings each. Walk in off the street and get sorted then off to get glasses. I went to the same place I went to 5 years ago. She was the best. Recently got glasses in Australia, hated them from the minute I put them on and "I shouldn't have gone to.... " you know the rest. I haven't got these glasses yet because they have to be made but although they are no cheaper than back home I am confident they will be perfect. They were happy to use my old frames(excellent quality and many years left in them which the Aussie optometrist refused to do, instead flogging some  other frames to me)  but I opted to get new ones here same perfect quality for a fifth of the price of the ones
don't like from home. No wonder people travel abroad for health care.
It's not even lunchtime yet and we both had comprehensive dental treatment and been fitted for prescription glasses. It's warm but not unbearable, Richo bought a bum bag to carry stuff in. Today is a good day.
A quick toddle round China town, a bite to eat. I don't even know what this is battered fish still with their heads on and other unrecognisable stuff that smells very spicy. In the Central Market which was built in around 1880 with all these pigeon hole shops that are packed to the rafters with stock.

And back to the comfort of our hotel room. 3 unusual things we noticed about our room. No face washers provided, no clock digital or otherwise and the housekeeper cleans your room while your in it. I have never had a stranger clean my bathroom while I stood in it applying makeup ever. Is that normal or is it just me?? They were fast, efficient and friendly but I can't help thinking "well, that was odd!"
An afternoon swim in the endless edged pool might be a relaxing way to spend a couple of hours before happy hour.
Or might check out the gym .... Nah just kidding.
Richo reckons gym is a nick name for someone called James, he's a funny fella.
